"I was referred to Julie by my midwife. I did therapy throughout my pregnancy and postpartum! Julie was my pelvic floor therapist and she is a gem! She helped me gain strength back and confidence! I loved how attentive she was! She doesn’t treat you like another patient but treats you like a friend she genuinely cares about! Go see Julie for your pelvic floor health! You won’t regret it!"

About

Dr. Julie Moore, PT, Cert. MDT

Pelvic Specialist

Julie graduated from the university of North Georgia with her Bachelors in Exercise Science (2010) and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2013). She began her physical therapy career working in the acute care setting, seeing a vast array of patients in the hospital system. In 2015, she started working for the United States Army/ Department of Defense in an outpatient orthopedic setting, where she became certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (certMDT). After the birth of her first child in 2018 she realized the real and necessary need for more pelvic floor education and rehabilitation in the River Region, and began taking pelvic floor courses through Herman and Wallace. She has since had two more children and continues to pour into learning EVERYTHING about pelvic health so she can better serve our community.

As a mom who delivered three babies at Baptist East, she is especially passionate about helping women navigate and achieve their pregnancy and postpartum goals, including birth and labor prep.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family. She is an avid exerciser (running and lifting weights) and is always up for a game of chess, golf, or basketball.
